Design and Realization of Intelligent Traffic Signal Light

摘要:随着汽车保有量的不断增长,交通是否畅行已经成为影响城市发展的重要因素之一;而交叉路口的交通控制更为关键,严重影响到城市交通顺畅和交通安全。城市十字路口一般采用信号灯来控制车辆和行人的通行,但目前的信号灯多采用固定时间方式控制,在某些时段尤其上下班期间会造成车流量大量停滞,严重影响交通顺畅并可能造成交通事故。本文设计了一款单片机控制的智能交通信号灯,它能根据实时的车流量动态调整交通信号灯的时长,有效提高了通行效率,缓解了交通拥堵。
Abstract: With the continuous growth of the number of cars, the smooth flow of traffic has become one of the important factors affecting urban development; and the traffic control at intersections is more critical, which seriously affects the smoothness of urban traffic and traffic safety. Signal lights are generally used at urban intersections to control the passage of vehicles and pedestrians. However, the current signal lights are mostly controlled at a fixed time, which will cause a large number of stagnation of traffic flow during certain periods, especially during commuting, which seriously affects the smooth flow of traffic and may cause traffic accidents. In this paper, an intelligent traffic light controlled by a single chip microcomputer is designed, which can dynamically adjust the duration of the traffic light according to the real-time traffic flow, effectively improve the traffic efficiency and relieve traffic congestion.
