Application of Value Engineering in Cost Optimization of Auto Parts

摘要: 在汽车行业,价值工程的运用和实施对整个汽车行业供应链有着重要且深远的影响。而价值工程的意义和功能从简单到复杂,从单一到系统。最早的价值工程以降低材料费用、改变产品尺寸、形状、材质为主要方向,逐渐演变成改变产品设计,再到对产品以外的设备、程序、工艺、包装物流整个系统的运用。本文详细介绍了价值工程在设计端如何面向制造和装配做好设计、在零件材料选用和包装物流方面如何运用价值工程降低成本。
Abstract: In the automotive industry, the application and implementation of value engineering has an important and far impact on the entire automotive supply chain. The significance and function of value engineering are from simple to complex, from single to system. The earliest value engineering mainly focuses on reducing material cost and changing product size, shape and material. It gradually evolves into changing product design, and then to the application of equipment, program, process, packaging and logistics system other than products. This paper introduces in detail how to design value engineering for manufacturing and assembly, how to use value engineering to reduce costs in parts material selection and packaging logistics.
